Woodland had one fewer start on his MME
Aug. 24, 2010 - 6:50 PM ET

It turns out that Gary Woodland exhausted his Major Medical Extension (Q School/Nationwide Tour category) when he missed the cut at the Turning Stone Resort Championship.

An administrative error led us to believe that Woodland began 2010 with nine starts on his MME, but he had just eight. He fell short of meeting its terms by $445,837. He also failed to earn conditional status by $237,664. Therefore, he has lost his PGA TOUR membership. Look for him at Q School.
