David Toms signed for a final round of 6-under-par 64 and finished in second place at the Wyndham Championship.
Toms carded four birdies on the front nine to get within two-strokes of the lead, but a bogey to open the back nine dropped him down a very crowded leaderboard. A pair of birdies starting at the 15th hole moved Toms into a seven-way tie for the lead and 26-foot birdie-bomb at the 18th hole maintained a share of the lead with Arjun Atwal. Atwal converted a six-foot birdie at the 16th hole to go a stroke ahead and Toms could only wait as he watched Atwal par his final two hole for the title. The second place finish is the first Top 10 for Toms this season, which is quite amazing because he had seven Top 10s last season.
