ORANGE PARK, Fla. - The woman who killed Steve McNair before turning the gun on herself was buried Friday in Florida in a private ceremony with about 30 friends and family members.

Sahel Kazemi, 20, was laid to rest in a modest brown casket after a 30-minute ceremony at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, just before a rain shower began.

Cemetery officials prevented reporters and photographers from covering the graveside service and from speaking with family members following the ceremony.

Kazemi dropped out of high school and moved to Nashville, Tenn., from Florida with a boyfriend at age 17. She met McNair a few months ago and the two had been dating.

Kazemi shot McNair four times before she killed herself at an apartment McNair shared with a friend in Nashville.
