Martin Brodeur turned away 27 of 28 shots in New Jersey's 2-1 win Friday night.
The Devils' keeper is off to an unusually slow start, but a lot of that has to do with the team in front of him. New Jersey sat dead last in the NHL coming into Friday's action. Once the Devils start playing some respectable hockey in front of Brodeur, he'll return to the elite level that we expected on draft day.
