Canucks talking to Ehrhoff about an extension

The Vancouver Canucks and Christian Ehrhoff's agent, Rick Curran, have begun to negotiate a contract extension.
"The reality is we have had a couple of discussions," Curran said. "The club has made a definite overture that they would like to extend his contract. Christian has suggested to me that he really likes Vancouver and would very much like to stay there." Ehrhoff is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. He's surpassed the 40-point marker in both of his last two seasons.
