Islanders scratch Kyle Okposo on Tuesday

Kyle Okposo was a healthy scratch for the Islanders on Tuesday night.
He has struggled so far with no goals, three points and a minus-7 rating in 14 games, so he ended up watching from the press box to allow Nino Niederreiter to dress in his season debut. It was the first time that Okoposo has been a healthy scratch in his NHL career, so the message to turn his game around has been sent by the coaching staff.
