Eagles signed DB Geoffrey Pope off the Bengals practice squad.
Pope will add depth in the secondary with Joselio Hanson and Ellis Hobbs out and Sheldon Brown dealing with a nagging hamstring injury.
Ravens signed CB Cary Williams off the Titans practice squad.
Williams is a fringe player who has shuffled back and forth between the practice squad and the 53-man roster the past two seasons. He'll offer depth at corner after the Ravens lost Fabian Washington to a torn ACL.
Bills signed OG Kendall Simmons.
Simmons was a first-round pick of the Steelers back in 2002 but suffered a major Achilles injury and was cut by the Patriots on Nov. 6. He'll provide depth behind new starting guards Andy Levitre and Kirk Chambers.
Bills placed RG Eric Wood on injured reserve with a broken tibia and fibula, ending his season.
The 28th overall pick in the draft will have a very hard time being ready for Week 1 in 2010, and will probably be a candidate to begin next year on PUP. The gruesome compound fracture ends a promising season for Wood, who immediately stepped into a starting role this season and met expectations.
Eagles signed RT Winston Justice to a four-year, $18.15 million extension. The deal includes a $6 million signing bonus.
It's amazing how far Justice has come from his six-sack embarrassment against Osi Umenyiora in 2007. Despite cries of fear from observers, Justice stepped in for Shawn Andrews at right tackle this season and has vastly exceeded expectations. He was set to enter restricted free agency in 2010, but is now locked in through 2013 and received an immediate $3 million salary bump this year, on top of the signing bonus. Still just 25, Justice will be a bargain for the Birds for the next four seasons.
Bucs waived CB Mike Mickens.
Mickens is a rookie prospect that could garner some interest, unless his troublesome knee is the reason for this move. The seventh-round pick out of Cincinnati had first-day talent before injuring his knee.
Colts waived RB Mike Hart.
The Colts are obviously comfortable with Joseph Addai's finger and Donald Brown's shoulder. Chad Simpson sticks as the No. 3 back. They'll likely try to get Hart back on the practice squad.
