Packers signed WR Biren Ealy off their practice squad.
There's speculation that this is a sign that Donald Driver (stinger) may not be ready Sunday, but we're not sure. He's probably just insurance with Jordy Nelson and Brett Swain both out with knee injuries and Jake Allen questionable.
Dolphins released ILB William Kershaw.
Kershaw could be back soon if Channing Crowder (shoulder) can't get healthy. Still, he's more of a practice body.
Lions signed DT Joe Cohen off their practice squad.
Cohen will provide some depth as a run-stopper along the defensive line. It's unlikely he'll see many snaps barring an injury.
Lions released WR John Standeford.
This is a good sign that Calvin Johnson (knee) will play against the Seahawks Sunday. Standeford was a special teams contributor and deep receiving reserve.
Chiefs released WR Bobby Engram.
The Chiefs are desperate for someone to emerge with Dwayne Bowe and Engram was clearly not the answer. Engram had five catches on the season and at age 36, he has to be thinking he may be near the end of the line. The Chiefs may give Lance Long a look in the slot over Engram, who has 650 career catches.
Saints signed DT DeMario Pressley off their practice squad.
Kendrick Clancy was placed on injured reserve Saturday, ending his season. Pressley was a fifth-round pick in 2008 will be getting his first big chance after breaking his foot in his rookie training camp.
Titans released WR/KR Chris Davis.
Davis was signed just three days ago to compete for a spot in the return game, but it looks like he's lost out to Alvin Pearman.
