According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Steelers backup QB Charlie Batch needs wrist surgery and will be sidelined six weeks.
There are only six weeks left in the season, so Batch will be a candidate for injured reserve. With Ben Roethlisberger's (concussion) status up in the air this week, Dennis Dixon will have to at least be prepared to make his first NFL start. Dixon gave Batch a run for his money for the No. 2 job this summer, but the Steelers elected to stay with Batch's experience and accuracy edge over Dixon's athleticism and big-play ability.

Kurt Warner said he thinks he's going to be "just fine" after suffering a minor concussion during Sunday's win over the Rams.
Warner didn't play in the second half Sunday and was replaced by Matt Leinart. Warner said he hasn't suffered a concussion since 2003 and didn't lose consciousness or memory Sunday, which bodes well for his chances of being cleared for this week. He'll undergo neurological tests and will need to pass his baseline tests before suiting up against the Titans. Consider Warner questionable for now.

Ladell Betts tore both his ACL and MCL during Sunday's loss to the Cowboys and will need surgery.
Betts' season is over, just as he was getting a chance to show what he could do with Clinton Portis (concussion) out. The Redskins will now be forced to turn to Rock Cartwright and Quinton Ganther as their primary runners behind a backup-level offensive line. It's unlikely that Betts, 30, will be ready for the start of next season.

A league source tells Profootballtalk.com that the early signs for Ben Roethlisberger (concussion) are "encouraging."
Roethlisberger was cleared to make the team flight home to Pittsburgh, remembers everything that happened on Sunday, and isn't dealing with any nausea. Big Ben was knocked out of the game in overtime on a hit by Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson. The Steelers play the Ravens in Week 12. PFT's source says "it'll take a lot" for Roethlisberger to sit out the intradivision matchup.

According to CBS' Bill Cowher, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said after Sunday's game that Ben Roethlisberger's head injury was "concussion oriented."
Big Ben was hit in the helmet by Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson's knee on an overtime scramble. Charlie Batch came on in relief and turned the ball over on downs, leading to the Chiefs' upset victory. Roethlisberger will have to pass his baseline tests this week to play at Baltimore next Sunday.

LeSean McCoy rushed 20 times for 99 yards and a touchdown as the Eagles topped the Bears 24-20 on Sunday Night Football.
McCoy showed electric speed on most of his runs. He wasn't involved in the passing game, but blocked better than he has in past weeks and still finished with a fine fantasy line. McCoy will remain a strong fantasy option until Brian Westbrook (concussion) is cleared to return to action. The 6-4 Eagles take on the 3-7 Redskins in Week 12.

Ladell Betts tore his the MCL in his left knee during Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
Betts was injured when Cowboys linebacker Bradie James landed awkwardly on Betts' back leg. Betts was helped to the sideline before being carted off the field in a huge aircast. Look for the Redskins to sign a free agent, while Rock Cartwright will immediately assume a starting role. Betts is scheduled for an MRI on Monday and is out for the foreseeable future.
