Dolphins waived OLB Matt Roth.
Roth earned the ire of the coaching staff and front office for sitting out training camp with a groin injury despite being medically cleared. Set to hit free agency after the season, he wasn't going to return to the Dolphins regardless. Miami is deep at outside linebacker, so Roth was the odd man out the rest of the way. Expect him to draw plenty of interest from teams that run 3-4 defenses.

According to coach Wade Phillips, Jason Witten (foot) will be a game-time decision after returning to a limited practice Tuesday.
Witten's injury is being described as a sprained foot. The return to practice would seem to be a positive sign, but Phillips said he's "a little bit worried" about Witten being able to play. Considering Witten's history, which includes playing through a painful broken rib, we're optimistic that he'll be in the lineup Thursday afternoon. If not, Martellus Bennett would be a viable fantasy play against the Raiders.

In addition to sporting a walking boot on his opposite foot, Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle sprain) is also on crutches this week.
Coach Tom Coughlin indicated that the new sprain is more severe than initially expected, and Bradshaw isn't even guaranteed to make the trip to Denver for the Thanksgiving game. Expect Brandon Jacobs to handle early-down duties with Danny Ware serving as the change-of-pace and third-down back. Ware is worth a waiver add in case the injury sidelines Bradshaw for multiple weeks.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said that Ben Roethlisberger (head) passed his concussion tests on Monday and feels fine.
Big Ben will practice Wednesday, and the Steelers plan to have him in the starting lineup against the Ravens on Sunday Night Football. He's the No. 6 fantasy quarterback right now and should be in lineups against a very beatable Baltimore secondary that is now missing Fabian Washington.

Ahmad Bradshaw's latest ankle sprain is to the opposite foot, putting his status for Thursday's game in doubt.
Bradshaw is now wearing a boot on his left foot after dealing with an ankle injury as well as a cracked metatarsal in his right foot for the past six weeks. Even if he manages to play through the multiple injuries this week, he's a poor fantasy play with Danny Ware's reps increasing.
Eagles signed RT Winston Justice to a four-year, $18.15 million extension. The deal includes a $6 million signing bonus.
It's amazing how far Justice has come from his six-sack embarrassment against Osi Umenyiora in 2007. Despite cries of fear from observers, Justice stepped in for Shawn Andrews at right tackle this season and has vastly exceeded expectations. He was set to enter restricted free agency in 2010, but is now locked in through 2013 and received an immediate $3 million salary bump this year, on top of the signing bonus. Still just 25, Justice will be a bargain for the Birds for the next four seasons.
Bucs placed Byron Leftwich (elbow) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Leftwich was Tampa's No. 3 QB behind Josh Freeman and Josh Johnson. The Bucs used Leftwich's banged-up elbow to justify the move to I.R., but wanted to bring in youngster Rudy Carpenter from Dallas' practice squad anyway. With a $3.5M roster bonus due him in March 2010, Leftwich won't be back with the Bucs. The Steelers will likely show interest in him after he's cut.
