FOXSports.com is reporting that Tyreke Evans, Sporting News' 2009 Freshman of the Year, will forgo his remaining three years of eligibility and enter the NBA draft.

Evans averaged 17.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists in his only season in Memphis while leading the Tigers to the Sweet 16. Evans was the key to Memphis' season. After the freshman was installed as the point guard, the Tigers went from unranked to the No. 2 seed in the West Region. Evans scored 33 points in his final college game, a 102-91 loss to Missouri in the regional semifinals.
