American Vonn 10th in World Cup giant slalom

Austrian skiiers sweep medal stand with top three spots

CORTINA D'AMPEZZO, Italy - Kathrin Zettel led an Austrian sweep Sunday in a women's World Cup giant slalom, finishing ahead of Michaela Kirchgasser and Elisabeth Goergl.

Zettel, who was second after the opening run on the Olympia delle Tofane course, won in 2 minutes, 47.10 seconds, 1.39 ahead of Kirchgasser and 1.71 better than Goergl.

Overall World Cup leader Lindsey Vonn of the United States was 10th.
