KOENIGSSEE, Germany - Two-time Olympic champion Armin Zoeggler of Italy won a men's single race Sunday to extend his overall lead in the luge World Cup.

Zoeggler finished in 1 minute, 34.458 seconds, a massive 0.360 seconds ahead of Germany's David Moeller. Felix Loch, also of Germany, was third in 1:35.003.

"This was the best present I could make myself," said Zoeggler, a five-time world champion who turned 35 on Sunday. "I have never been that strong on this course before."

It was Zoeggler's second World Cup win of the season and the 42nd of his career. After four races, he tops the overall standings with 355 points, with Moeller 30 points back in second.
