Even if the San Diego Chargers lose against the Denver Broncos on Sunday and miss out on the playoffs, they will keep Norv Turner as head coach, ESPN reported Wednesday.
The Chargers have won three straight games after starting the season 4-8, and Turner has the backing of owner Dean Spanos and general manager A.J. Smith, ESPN said.
