Gannon said the issue is “not serious,” and that the team is just “being smart.” Harrison is considered “day-to-day.” We should find out whether this is truly just a smart rest day based on Harrison’s availability in the next 24-to-48 hours. It’s possible Harrison just bumped knees with a defender. Hopefully, he’s back on the field for team drills tomorrow.

Nabers left Tuesday’s practice with a shoulder injury but reportedly avoided a serious injury. Daboll’s statement confirms this, though we should still expect a light workload for Nabers over the next few days. The young wideout has a knack for getting dinged up in games and practices, though he has also shown an ability to grit his teeth and play through the bumps and bruises. With the shoulder issue behind us, fantasy managers can keep taking Nabers in the first round of drafts.

Fant also had visits with the Saints and Dolphins before landing in Cincinnati. He will now compete with Mike Gesicki for the starting tight end role. Gesicki was a de facto third receiver for the Bengals last year. Because he was competing with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins for targets, Gesicki was irrelevant to the fantasy conversation when they were both healthy. He did, however, pop for multiple TE1 performances when Higgins was sidelined. Fant could do something similar if he unseats Gesicki as the starter, though that is far from a given. For now, this situation is a clear avoid for fantasy managers.

Fowler specifically said, “It’s an early season return and Week 1 is possible.” Likely went down in practice on Tuesday and head coach John Harbaugh told reporters he is expected to be out “a few weeks.” Fowler’s reporting makes the injury sound more significant, though we’re still well over a month out from Week 1. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport later chimed in, adding that Likely will undergo surgery, though Rapoport also said Week 1 was a possibility. Likely was set to push Mark Andrews for work out of the gates, but the lost practice time will almost certainly prevent that from happening. He could still increase his role as the season goes on, but fantasy managers should plan on him continuing his high-end backup duties to start the year.

“In past years, you’d often see Montgomery get the first bulk of carries before Gibbs takes the field. There was a clear pecking order in practice, and that often translated to games,” Pouncy continued. A shift where Gibbs takes on more of the early-down workload from David Montgomery would qualify as a fantasy earthquake, something that could push Gibbs ahead of Bijan Robinson and Saquon Barkley in the No. 1 overall running back conversation, while also pushing Montgomery down the board quite a bit. Pouncy also notes that “perhaps the staff is recognizing [Gibbs] is too talented for a true 50-50 split.” We aren’t sure quite how much stock to put into this, but it’s certainly a noteworthy report from Lions camp.

“What that looks like, we’re going to be smart. But at the same time, he wants to get back out there. He doesn’t want to stay wearing what I wear to practice much longer,” O’Connell continued. Jefferson’s injury should be treated with only the faintest of concern at this point ahead of the new season. It wouldn’t be surprising if he was practicing within the next couple of weeks.

“We’ll know more tomorrow,” Harbaugh added. It sounds like the Ravens are still determining the complete severity of the injury, but a multi-week absence will probably keep Likely out for most of training camp and the preseason. It makes for a nice fantasy runout for Mark Andrews early, as Likely could miss regular-season time and won’t be able to push Andrews for more snaps in camp. The Ravens will likely update Likely’s status again sometime in the near future.

He added that he’s looking forward to getting Lance some “game experience.” Lance, who has been living the Hall Of Fame game life for his entire career, led the NFL in pass attempts and passing yards in last year’s preseason action.

It’s possible that the Giants hold out Nabers for a day or two after he fell on his shoulder during a running play in team drills. The Giants are not practicing tomorrow. The “sense within the organization” per Art Stapleton is that Nabers was held out for the rest of the session as a precautionary measure.
