The Football Night in America crew tries to cut back when it comes to things that can negatively impact the environment. Here are some things Cris and the rest of the crew do to make a difference.

Cris Collinsworth

Walks to work each Sunday.

Tiki Barber

Doesn’t drive anymore, and no longer takes taxis. When he travels for work, he rents a hybrid vehicle. Relies on mass transit while in New York City – buses and the subway. And he’s found that taking mass transit is more efficient than driving or taking a cab.

Jerome Bettis

The Bettis family washes clothes in cold water, reducing energy needed to heat water.

Dan Patrick

Has been driving a hybrid vehicle for the past five years.

Keith Olbermann

Drinks filtered tap water, greatly reducing bottled water use. At an average of three large bottles a day, this saves about 1,000 large bottles per year.

Peter King

The members of the King household shop at an organic green grocery and grow their own vegetables in the summer and fall.
