FAQ
What time is the live game available for viewing?
Each live game is available for viewing at around 8:15 ET (7 p.m. ET for the Thursday kickoff game), but you may access the companion experience just prior to kickoff to see a preview of the game.
How do I check my system's compatibility?
We have an area dedicated to system requirements just above this FAQs section. There you can find information around recommended operating system, browser and our required Adobe Flash Player version.
 What are Game Highlights?
As the live game progresses, our team compiles the most significant plays into short highlight reels, which you can watch at any time during the live coverage. In order to go back to the actual live game you can either close the highlight window or click on the "Go Live" button found within the video controller.
I asked a live commentary question, but I don't see my answer?
Our team tries to answer as many questions as possible, but given the amount of questions we receive throughout the game, unfortunately we can not get to each one. But we do our best to answer the best and most relevant questions throughout the game.
Why am I getting a "data not available" error?
Sometimes we may lose connection to the Live Commentary and/or statistical data, and in the case that this happens we ask you to be patient while we fix the issue. You may also reload the browser if it hasn't been resolved after a few minutes.
Where can I find the next week's matchup?
To find each week's schedule, simply scroll to the Game Schedule listing found toward the top of this page. You can click on the "More Games" link to reveal the schedule for the remainder of the season. Please note that matchups in weeks 12 through 17 are subject to change due to flex scheduling.
How can I watch archived games?
Sunday Night Football Extra only offers live game streaming and highlights while the game is under way, but you can access each week's scores by going to NBCSports.com's NFL scoreboard.
