Arenas the best of lame free agent market

Not a lot of teams ready to throw much money around

Gilbert Arenas is the top draw in a very thin free agent market.

Extensions
Teams have until October 31 to work out contract extensions with first-rounders from the 2005 draft. That's why most of these guys' contracts will wait till September or so.

1. Chris Paul. No-brainer. Max deal coming.

2. Deron Williams. Ditto.

3. Andrew Bogut. Not a max guy, but should be pretty close.

4. Andrew Bynum. The Lakers are making him a priority, but he's coming off an injury. He could hold off and earn a max deal next summer, but that would be risky.

5. Danny Granger. The Pacers set out to build around Granger and Dunleavy this summer. They are certain to lock Granger into place.

6. Marvin Williams. Dealing with Childress and Smith are priorities. If the Hawks lose either, they'll need to quickly lock up Williams.

7. Raymond Felton. He's been brought up in trade rumors, but wants to stay put. Will the Bobcats be willing to pay up?

8. Francisco Garcia. Probably a late-summer deal.

9. Jason Maxiell. If he knows he wants to keep them, Pistons GM Joe Dumars prefers to take care of players quickly. He wants to keep Maxiell.

10. Linas Kleiza. With Denver way over the cap, Kleiza might be looking at restricted free agency next year.

Rondo's triple-double carries Celtics over Bulls

Paul Pierce has been around long enough to know what Rajon Rondo's performance can mean for the aging Boston Celtics.
