Wide receiver Terry Glenn is pushing for a quick return to the Dallas Cowboys the Dallas Morning News is reporting.
Glenn failed a physical after last season and still hasn’t passed one because of problems with his right knee that was operated on twice last season.
"Terry is someone I have a lot of interest in," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told the Dallas newspaper Friday night. "We worked well together last year. We will sit down here and look at how he fits and what we can do with him as a player this year."
Jones wants Glenn to accept a $500,000 injury settlement if he re-injures the knee and can’t play this season, but Glenn has refused. As a result, the team has barred him from participating in all preseason workouts.
The Cowboys have had internal discussions about possible acquiring wide receiver Joe Horn from the Atlanta Falcons to start along with Terrell Owens, ESPN is reporting.
