EliteXC on Wednesday officially announced its second CBS card, "Unfinished Business," which will be headlined by the rematch of May's Scott Smith vs. Robbie Lawler middleweight title fight.
The event will be held at Stockton Arena in Stockton, Calif.
The first fight between Smith and Lawler ended in a no-contest when a ringside doctor stopped it due to a third-round inadvertant eye poke that left Smith unable to see.
Because the fight did not go at least three rounds, the scheduled five-rounder could not go to judges' scorecards and was declared a no-contest.
In addition to the Smith-Lawler main event, EliteXC will crown a welterweight champion for the first time when Jake Shields faces off with Nick Thompson.
The last announced fight will be Stockton's Nick Diaz vs. Thomas Denny. More fights are expected to be made official in the coming days.
EliteXC's first foray onto CBS averaged 4.85 million viewers and peaked at 6.51 million for the main event between Kimbo Slice and James Thompson. Slice is expected to fight on the third CBS broadcast, which will air later this year.
