Margaret Smith Court vs. Billie Jean King (1970)
In one of the greatest women's tennis matches in history, Margaret Smith Court and Billie Jean King battled on Centre Court for two hours and 28 minutes. As if the on-court play wasn't enough excitement, the match was also televised in color instead of black and white. The match lasted just two sets, but it had a record number of games in a ladies' final: 46. Court ultimately won, 14-12, 11-9, converting on her sixth match point in the final set. King had broken Court four times in the first set, but each time Court rallied to even the match.
