Andre Agassi vs. Goran Ivanisevic (1992)
In the 1992 men's singles championship match, it was guaranteed that there would be a first-time winner, as neither Andre Agassi nor Goran Ivanisevic had broken through yet for a Grand Slam title. It was obvious how much both of them wanted the win, as neither one gave up in a thrilling five-setter. Agassi survived 37 blistering aces from Ivanisevic to take a 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 victory. Ivanisevic didn't help his own cause, double faulting twice to start the 10th game in the final set and giving Agassi the opening he needed to take the break and the championship.
