Rain delays have plagued Wimbledon for years, but a crowd at Centre Court in 1996 was treated to an interesting spectacle while they were trying to pass the time. Sir Cliff Richard, an English singer who was knighted the previous year, started an impromptu sing-along with some unusual backup singers: some of the top female players in the world. Conchita Martinez (not pictured), Pam Shriver, Rosalyn Nideffer, Martina Navratilova and Gigi Fernandez were on hand to show off their singing and dancing skills.
