Arthur Ashe vs. Jimmy Connors (1975)
Jimmy Connors was heavily favored in his 1975 finals bout against Arthur Ashe. The No. 1 seed hadn't lost a set in the Wimbledon tournament that year, while Ashe, who was approaching the latter years of his career, had played three four-set matches and one five-setter leading up to the finals.
