Tatiana Golovin's red knickers (2007)
She followed the dress code rules at the All England Club, but Tatiana Golovin still raised eyebrows -- and caught eyes -- at Wimbledon in 2007. The French player sported bright red knickers underneath her white dress. That didn't violate the all-white rules, however, because dress code states underwear can be any color as long as it is shorter than the skirt. Of the 15 questions posed to the 19-year-old at her post-match press conference in the first round, 10 revolved around her underwear.
The United States completed a 5-0 rout of Switzerland in the Davis Cup on Sunday, with 19-year-old Ryan Harrison and John Isner winning closing singles matches.
