Anne White's catsuit (1985)
When Anne White took off her warm-up tracksuit to start play in the first round at Wimbledon in 1985, her outfit caused a major stir. She was following the All England Club's dress code in terms of color, but she was dressed in a full-length, skin-tight body suit. Darkness ultimately suspended her match after two sets, which gave tournament umpire Alan Mills the chance to tell her to wear a different outfit the following day. The new outfit didn't bring her as much luck, and she fell to Shriver, 3-6, 7-6, 3-6.
