Bjorn Borg vs. John McEnroe (1981)
It was a rematch of the previous year's men's singles championship match, but the outcome was different. While in 1980 Bjorn Borg had claimed his fifth straight Wimbledon title with a five-set victory over John McEnroe, the American was victorious in four sets in 1981. It was an end of an era for Borg, who later admitted that he was losing motivation by that point in his career.
