Future U.S. Open sites

Although Pinehurst Resort's Course No. 2 was completed in 1907, it didn't host the U.S. Open until 1999. The site of the 2005 U.S. Open as well, Pinehurst will host again in 2014. A National Historic Landmark, Pinehurst currently has eight golf courses and is one of the largest golf resorts in the world.
