Readers share their thoughts on NBA Finals

When the poor officiating is is go to stop Lakers could breathe with out getting fall call if you going to call the game call far on both end this second game was officiating embarrassment

I am not a basketball fan, but understand the rules. I follow team sports such as soccer, volleyball, baseball etc. The Celtics/Lakers game 2 has to rate right at the top among the worst officated game is sports history, and it heavily seemed to favor the celtics. Just reenforces why basketball's inconsistent calls make it such as unattractive sport for me.

I have never seen such biased officiating in all my years of watching basketball. The free-throw disparity says it all: Boston is allowed to maul the Lakers, but the merest brush the other way is an instant foul. Make me want to give up basketball altogether, when the refs are the ones deciding games

Kobe is the best player ever! He's shot 35% in his last 5 NBA Finals games, could MJ ever do that???
— lou73, Los Angeles

quite simply, i detest the Lakers franchise and Phil Jackson too. Longtime Bulls fan here and can't even remember back when Jackson was our hero final thought, KOBE the one man show should be in jail!

This is a great series, very exciting and couldn't be better. I love the Celtics and know they will do it.
— J Sanders, Dallas

Faking?! Are you kidding me? It's a sprained Knee. Maybe not as bad as first thought, but still an injury. But to say there is any chance of faking something like this is just ridiculous. Also, keep in mind, The Paul Piece isn't comparing himself to Willis Reed, that's you guys in the media.

PP was the only Celtic I liked, but after last night I can't help but think of him as a punk. Its like he is trying to challenge Dwane Wade for the biggest sally in the league title.
— justin, Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Worse than seeing your team get beat is having to listen to the crew who called the game for ABC, each of which is unquestionably pulling for the Celtics. Where is Chick Hearn when You need Him.
