Tiger Woods broke or tied nine tournament records in the 2000 U.S. Open, including one for record margin of victory. He cruised to a 15-stroke advantage over the nearest competitor at Pebble Beach Golf Links. The victory was Woods' first at the event and second major title overall. Adding to his triumph, the win also helped him become the PGA Tour's all-time career money leader.
