As if his wins alone weren't enough to make him a golfing legend, Bobby Jones had some help achieving that status with remarkable shots. One of the most incredible came in the 1930 U.S. Open and has been dubbed the "Lily Pad Shot." Distracted by two fans who had run onto the fairway, Jones flinched in the middle of his swing. His ball fell about 20 yards short of the green and hit the lake, but rather than sinking it instead skipped across the surface and landed on the grass on the other side of the water.
