Tiger Woods sinks a clutch birdie putt on 18 to force a playoff with Rocco Mediate. But the playoffs were not enough. Woods and Mediate would need one extra hole to decide who would win the 2008 U.S. Open Championship. Nevertheless Woods would walk away with his third U.S. Open championship.
