Bongarts / Bongarts/Getty Images Belgian tennis players and rivals Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin faced off in the finals of the 2003 U.S. Open. Ranked No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, Clijsters was no match for Henin, falling 7-5, 6-1. The win moved Henin into the second spot in the world rankings, just behind Clijsters. She would go on to replace Clijsters as the new No. 1.
