Although she lost the U.S. Open title to Maria Sharapova in the finals, Justine Henin still achieved an impressive feat just by making it there. She was the first woman tennis player since Martina Hingis in 1997 to reach the finals of all four Grand Slam singles tournaments in a calendar year.
