NEW YORK - Eli Manning will soon be adding another title: Husband.

The Super Bowl MVP quarterback of the NFL champion New York Giants plans to marry his college sweetheart later this month, The New York Post reported Saturday.

Abby McGrew’s father told The Post that Manning and his daughter would tie the knot later this month.

Manning’s oldest brother, Cooper, also confirmed to the paper that his brother and McGrew, a Nashville native, were planning to get married. There is no word if Cooper or Eli's other brother, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning will be the best man at the wedding.

The Post reported that the 27-year-old Manning and 24-year-old McGrew, who were students together at the University of Mississippi, were recently spotted at the Office of the City Clerk, where marriage licenses are doled out.

The two were expected to marry in McGrew's native Nashville. They reportedly attended services at the Brentwood United Methodist Church. But the Post reports that may not happen because when wedding licenses are issued in New York, the ceremony has to take place in the state for the marriage to be legally valid.

"It [will] definitely [be] small," one invited guest told the Post. "Not a lot of people will be there."

The Post reported Manning proposed to McGrew in March, 2007.

Manning capped an improbable playoff run by the Giants by throwing the game-winning touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress in New York’s 17-14 victory in the Super Bowl against New England in February.

Manning, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2004 draft, threw a career-high 20 interceptions last season. He thrived during the end of the season and in the playoffs, though, with 10 touchdown passes and only two interceptions.
