UCLA: While with the Celtics, Stacom was a teammate of former Bruin Sidney Wicks, the Most Outstanding Player of the 1970 NCAA tourney.
North Carolina: While with the Celtics, Stacom was a teammate of former Tar Heel All-American Charlie Scott.
Memphis: While with the Indiana Pacers in 1978-79, Stacom was a teammate of former Tiger Johnny Davis.
Stacom to Naismith: Stacom played with Scott, who played for Dean Smith, who played for Phog Allen, who played for Naismith. Four degrees.
