The Chicago Bears pulled a surprise move Monday, cutting veteran wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad, the NFL Network reported, citing no sources.
The Bears also signed defensive end Alex Brown to a two-year extension, the NFL Network reported.
Muhammad had 40 catches for 570 yards and three touchdowns last season for the Bears.
