PHOENIX - Tom Brady’s right shoulder is back on the New England Patriots’ injury report — where it’s been most of the season despite his record 50 touchdown passes.

Yes, his right shoulder, not his right ankle. That seems to be fine.

The star quarterback practiced with his team Wednesday, showing no problems with his sprained ankle.

“Everybody practiced,” coach Bill Belichick said. “They’re fine.”

According to the Chicago Tribune’s Dan Pompei, the designated pool reporter, Brady wasn’t limping noticeably and his ankle wasn’t taped during the two-hour practice at Arizona State in nearby Tempe. Two days ago, he was limping and it was taped.

Belichick wasn’t particularly thrilled by the practice, during which the team wore pads for the first time this week.

“I’ve seen better,” he said. “There’s always things to work on. We have plenty of them.”

Wide receiver Jabar Gaffney was the only player listed as limited in practice because of a shoulder injury.

Brady’s ankle has been a hot topic since last week, when he was spotted in New York wearing a boot on his right foot. The NFL’s Most Valuable Player missed three practices last week because of the high ankle sprain, suffered in the AFC championship game against San Diego.
