Josh Burkman (20-4) and Mike Zwick (10-2) tangle in a welterweight match at the Palm Casino in Las Vegas on Wednesday Jan. 23.
The fight card will be shown on Spike TV beginning at 9 p.m.
Others on the card are Nate Diaz (7-2) in a lightweight struggle against Alvin Robertson (10-2); and Thiago Tavares (16-1) in another lightweight fight against Michihiro Omigawa (4-5).

Ken Shamrock with EliteXC
MMA legend Ken “Most Dangerous Man Alive” Shamrock signed a contract to compete with EliteXC at its March 8th fight card in Wembley Arena in London, England.
Also signed was Shamrock’s son Ryan Shamrock who will also compete on the same fight card.
“We’re thrilled to have signed Ken and Ryan Shamrock,” said Gary Shaw president of EliteXC. “Ken is one of the most recognizable and popular figures in MMA. He has fought the biggest and some of the most important fights in MMA history.”
Shamrock is excited about his son joining him on the same fight card.
“We will be making MMA history by being the first father and son to ever fight on the same card,” said Ken Shamrock. “Give me a fight or two and I’ll be ready to fight anybody.”

Strikeforce and EliteXC announced that Frank Shamrock (23-8-1) will meet Cung Le (21-0) on March 29 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. “This has the potential to be one of the greatest mixed martial arts of all-time,” said Scott Coker, Strikeforce CEO.
