Michael Vick is closing in on cutting his ties in Georgia.
Vick has put his mansion in Duluth, Georgia up for sale, TMZ reported.
With the Atlanta Falcons in the process of trying to recover $20 million in bonuses from the suspended quarterback after he plead guilty to federal dogfighting charges in August, Vick is reportedly seeking $4.5 million for the estate.
According to the report, the mansion features seven bedrooms, 8 1/2 bathrooms and has waterfront property set on 1 1/2 acres.
The report stated that Vick’s estimated monthly payment on the house is $23,206, a costly amount considering the quarterback’s mounting legal fees and loss of endorsement dollars.
The news comes more than a week after an arbitrator in Philadelphia stated the Falcons can attempt to recoup the bonus from the 10-year, $130 million contract Vick signed in December 2004.
The arbitrator ruled in favor of the Falcons because the payments do not apply to money earned but for future services, which cannot be earned because of the suspension handed down by Commissioner Roger Goodell.
The NFL Players Association said it is planning to appeal the ruling.
Chris Johnson 'has worked very hard' and will rebound from a bad season, Tennessee offensive coordinator Chris Palmer says.
