ASHBURN, Va. - Washington Redskins practice squad offensive lineman Kili Lefotu was arrested late Friday after a disturbance at a restaurant.
Lefotu was apparently involved in a dispute with a patron the restaurant. Loudoun County sheriff's office spokesman Kraig Troxell says the 23-year-old Lefotu was charged with being drunk in public, destruction of property and simple assault.
As a member of the practice squad, the Redskins say Lefotu would not have traveled with the team for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers under any circumstances.
Spokesman Chris Helein says the team is waiting to see details and get more information.
