Dominican pitcher turning heads
The Yankees and Mariners are both so impressed with 16-year-old Dominican pitcher Michel Inoa that they’re reportedly willing to fork over $3-4 million to him. President Bush digs Utley
President George Bush said that if he were going to start a baseball team, he’d want Chase Utley to be the guy he built around. It’s a nice compliment, but considering the damage Bush did as a GM of the Rangers, his judgment of ballplayers should not be trusted. (Philadelphia Inquirer)

Skiles not bitter about losing job
Scott Skiles has talked to candidates for the coaching job in Chicago, and he’s apparently had nothing bad to say. "[Chicago] is a great organization. John Paxson is good to work with.
