BALTIMORE - Roger Clemens missed his first game since rejoining the New York Yankees, skipping their contest against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night to attend a funeral.
The funeral, for a friend of the pitcher’s mother, was held in Connecticut, Yankees manager Joe Torre said.
Clemens is scheduled to start Wednesday against the Orioles. He will be seeking his 350th career victory.
