The U.S. announced it's Olympic roster on Dec. 31 after the U.S. Long Track Championships in Utah.

On the women’s side, Jennifer Rodriguez will return for the U.S. Rodriguez has numerous World Cup, World Singles and World Sprint medals to her credit. Qualifying for her fourth Olympic team, Chris Witty is also looking to capture a medal in three consecutive Winter Games.

Catherine Raney, Margaret Crowley, Elli Ochowicz, Amy Sannes, Kristine Holzer and Maria Lamb also all qualified for the squad.

For the men, Chad Hedrick has switched from inline skating (where he won 50 World Championships) to speedskating. Hedrick is the two-time defending world champion in the 5000m as well as the world record holder in the long samalog and 3000m.

Shani Davis attempted to be the first U.S. skater to compete in both long track and short track in the same Olympics. However, after a poor showing in the U.S. Short Track Championships, he'll only be competing at Turin in the long track program.

Both Hedrick and Davis pre-qualified for spots on the U.S. team. K.C. Boutiette, Joey Cheek, Casey FitzRandolph, Kip Carpenter and Salt Lake City star Derek Parra also earned spots on the roster.
